The splash guard is glued and if necessary additionally attached with small plastic rivets. Alternatively, small screws can also be used. It can be additionally glued with silicone sealant.
This fender extension for the lower fender is a very good protection for the engine and exhaust system against stone chips, dirt and splash water.
